Health in a Changing Climate

Virginia Clinicians for Climate Action invites you to a free educational event for physicians and nurses. This symposium will review how changes in the climate affect health through effects on plant physiology, extreme heat, water quality and rising sea level. It will review populations that are at elevated risk from these effects. It will conclude with a discussion on clinician advocacy, and how health care providers can influence policy-making on this complex subject.
