Cooking the Earth
Does anyone think we are not boiling the world? Take a look at David Wallace-Wells book The Uninhabitable Earth or much shorter version in the New York Magazine. Go to “It is, I promise, worse than you think.” June 2019 was the hottest on record, go to: June. But wait, could it get worse, ah, now we have July info coming in, go to: July. Since we have no air conditioning in our home I have to work hard to avoid the angry comments from my family. I wear head phones at all times in the house.

Barb Sattler and her team have a monthly webinar series – What All Nurses Need to Know About Food, Agriculture, and Health. Pesticides, Sustainability, Climate Change, and more. Thing one – some of you have asked about publishing in the newsletter. Like the Ramones this newsletter is short and loud. Get your piece published somewhere on line and let us know the link. If you need help finding a place to publish contact ANHE staff. If you have a scholarly piece, contact the ANHE education work group.
Thing two – late with the newsletter, but like the famously showed up late for work band Sweetwater I have no good excuse. Would like to blame the heat. Maybe the night time heat? Look up your city at Night Time.
