Please join the Research Workgroup on August 24 at 3 pm ET. Our meeting will feature a presentation from Dr. Azita Amiri entitled “The level of formaldehyde and volatile organic compounds in commercial nail salons: A pilot study.”
Dr. Azita Amiri, is an assistant professor at the University of Alabama in Huntsville, College of Nursing. Dr. Amiri is a nurse researcher with an interest in environmental health and environmental justice. She measures indoor air quality in residential and occupational settings and studies the common indoor air exposures, their concentrations and sources, and their impact on pregnancy outcomes, child health, and well-being of elderly.
